Maxback is a website in which users can trade in their old mobile devices for cash. Once logged into the site, a user can get a quote on the worth of their mobile device, accept or reject the quote, and then proceed to send in their phone if they have accepted the Maxback quote. Maxback purchases mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, fitness trackers, headphones, speakers, and even VR headsets from their users.

maxbackAccording to the vast majority of consumers, Maxback is a reputable website that offers a fast and easy way to sell off unwanted or unused electronics, as well as being offered fair prices for their devices. There appear to be some small hiccups in the website design of Maxback, however. According to a review by Rob Ainbinder, he was not able to do something as simple as selling two of the same device without having to contact Maxback’s customer service.

Ainbinder reported that the lack of an option to change the amount of phones in the cart was the only major issue.
Other users on TrustPilot have reported larger issues. Multiple users have reported that the quote presented to them by Maxback was higher than the amount they were actually paid at the conclusion of their transaction, believing that they had been scammed out of their devices. Similarly, a few users have reported that they did not even receive payment from Maxback, or that Maxback claimed that their phone did not work as described when they believed otherwise.

Overall, when analyzing reviews of Maxback, the vast majority of them are positive, stating that transactions through the site are smooth and as described. Maxback has received a 9.7 out of 10 on the website review platform TrustPilot, with 92% of the 775 reviews being five stars. Because of this, it can be concluded that Maxback is a reputable and trustworthy website.
